In 1978, NBC booked a pilot with a talented young ventriloquist, who, tragically would not live to see his career skyrocket. He was discovered, stabbed to death in a cabin in Liberty, NY, by his purported lover. Soon after, his agent and his lover’s husband were found sunk to the bottom of a nearby lake. Did Corky Withers murder these men before committing suicide? Or is something more sinister at play? Could this be the work of the infamous serial killer The Swiss Army Slasher?
