In this episode, we define mindfulness, present the benefits of mindfulness, explain different types of mindfulness (there are a lot–one or more of which may be perfect for you!), and even do a progressive muscle relaxation meditation!

    But what is mindfulness? Mindfulness is the awareness that comes from intentionally paying attention in the present moment, in a nonjudgmental way. There are numerous benefits of mindfulness. If you’re struggling with sleep, emotional reactivity, high unmanaged stress, or anxiety/uncertainty, a mindfulness practice may transform your life by helping you manage these struggles and bring you peace and relaxation.
