Meet Becky Lee, executive director and founder of Becky's Fund, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to ending domestic violence through education, advocacy, and service. Raised in a Christian family, Becky is grounded in her deep belief of service and driven by her desire to make a real impact on lives of those experiencing domestic abuse.
In this episode, Becky shares how a moment in undergrad, helped redirect her focus and uncover her passion for women's issues, eventually pushing her down the path to pursue a law degree, instead of pre-med. This shift and time spent on reality TV, would help create the platform to launch Becky's Fund, which plays an active role in domestic violence prevention education and shines a light on the importance of reexamining how we define abuse and support those in need.
