On this episode Miranda Chavoya Was my guest. Miranda is in charge of leadership of the
Patriot Academy. Think of the Patriot academy like Guys and Girls State except
from a biblical and constitutional prospective. We discussed the simulations
that students at the academy from 16 to 22 go through. The students go through
everything from campaigning for the legislature, governor, writing bills,
debating signing and perhaps vetoing the bill.
But the
Patriot academy doesn’t just provide training for youth and young adults. They
offer firearms training. Wait until you here her response when I asked her if
blind people can go through firearms training. I think you will be very intrigued
at her response. We also discussed how to talk to youth and young adults who
might be more liberal about things then you and I. I felt very edified after
