The Discipline of Determination is a prized virtue but difficult to acquire especially in our microwave society. It is easy to quit because we see something better and realize all the reasons to start over and start fresh. Another reason we quit is because we see nothing at all. We are surrounded by a cloud or fog or darkness and our efforts seem hopeless. But, what if what you are pressing through has nothing to do with with what it is that you are pressing through and is all about what it is forging in you, and in your character. Andrea shares how she wrestled with quitting and how the virtue of Discipline was forged in her during one of the most difficult seasons of her life; living in isolation for 90 days in a remote corner of Northern British Columbia, Canada. Andrea shares insights from her journal that she recorded during those difficult, dark, and lonely days that enabled her to press through and reap an extraordinary reward.
