“The number one thing is discipline,” Mike says. “Having the discipline to do something every day that will generate a lead, a prospect, an appointment or a contract.”
He adds that learning critical skill sets goes hand-in-hand with discipline, saying: “Everything from learning how to manage your time, and to do productive activities, especially during the morning hours.” In this regard, he cites critical, learned activities such as prospecting, lead follow-up, pre-qualifying prospects, and honing your presentation skills.
