Hello and welcome to episode 41
I would like you to meet Debbie Gorsalitz. Debbie is a wife, mother, grandmother, author, energy healer, and veteran. But, most importantly a mental illness survivor.
Debbie's first novel addresses the hard topics of self-medication and suicide.
Debbie hopes her experiences can help others realize they are not alone. She shares her story about her struggles with Trigeminal neuralgia (TN or TGN), also called Fothergill disease, and trifacial neuralgia. It is often referred to as the suicide disease, due to the severity of the pain this disorder inflicts on those that suffer. For anyone suffering you will not want to miss this episode, Debbie shares that there is hope for others going through Trigeminal Neuralgia and support for family members and friends who have someone close to them suffering.
Debbie shares her debut novel "Making Amends" by D.J. Callaghan this is a beautiful novel and is available on amazon, select Indigo and Chapters locations and you can also order on her website at www.djcallaghan.com
