On this episode Eric, Sketch 83, Carlos Rob and I, Oscar, started our new series of 20 episodes which we named "Get your Shit Together" or "Ponte en la Bola". We are selecting topics randomly from our CREATE jar and on this episode we selected the topic "Making everyone Happy is for Candy".
If you think about this... so many of us want to please everyone and keep them happy but the reality is that you can't get your LIFE together by doing this. Of course, this is an important part of having meaningful relationships and finding purpose in your life but it can really hurt if you think this is your job. Remember that job is for candy not for humans. Candy with it's sugary taste can bring happiness to most people but you can't. It's the reality. Now... with that being said... the guys and I got into this topic and really enjoyed sharing how this thought has shown up in our lives and how we have navigated the waters of being a little selfish to take care of ourselves and in turn be the best self for everyone around us.
