On today’s episode, the boys sit down with owner/co-founder of Working Dogs for Warriors, Mike Welsh. A non-profit organization that helps to pair veterans/first responders who are suffering from PTSD and mental health issues with service dogs, at no cost to the veteran or first responder. They go into the reasons as to why Mike started this organization with his wife and how service dogs are helping veterans. Mike also invited a guest to join him on his episode, and that was Joe Sanchez. Joe is a retired Fire Captain with the city of Ontario. Joe actually has a dog he was paired with through Working Dogs for Warriors, and they talk about the process that Joe went through to get paired with his dog and how much help/healing his dog has provided to him.
