Eden, Kentucky, a small town full of bad luck, the unusual, and the unfortunate. Opal and Jasper a sister- brother duo are part of the unfortunate side of things. Fighting to survive after the tragic loss of their mother but they are now stuck in this town for life. Opal decides her only priority will be to get her brother Jasper out of Eden. An opportunity is presented to Opal that will give her a way to help pay for Jasper’s way out but the catch, she has to work at the most peculiar place in town, Staling House. The people refuse to talk about Starling house because those that go there to live never seem to ever leave alive. Will Opal get her brother out of this forsaken town? Will she survive Starling House?
