All dads should be strong. Period. Strength is the manifestation of health. From the beginning of time, the strongest people have survived.
You need to be healthy to be a dad for a long time. You need to be strong to do stuff for your kids.

- Just doing the regular stuff- you’d be surprised how often I hear people say that they hurt their back tying their shoes. You have to be in shape to just live.
- Mental health- You need an outlet. Life will eat you up if you don’t. You want to have a productive way to take care of your anger. It’s important for men to have an outlet to manifest their testosterone if they don’t work a physical job.
- You won’t get sick- If you’re in shape you’ll have a stronger immune system. If you’re strong on the outside, you’ll be just as strong on the inside.
- You won’t get hurt- muscle is like a suit of armor. You’ll be ready for what life throws at you. You won’t get hurt if you fall. Heck, you might not even fall cuz you have such good control of your body.
- You’ll move better- if you have control of your body, you’ll be agile. Relative strength is a great metric to show how strong you are.
You can see that being strong isn’t just for throwing weights around in the gym. You just need to be strong to do regular things. The best chance you have to make it to the end of your life in healthy condition is getting strong. It's in your best interest to do this early because the older you get, the harder it will be to get in shape.
