On this episode of Do You Like Apples, hosts Drew Wendt and Billy Rock tackle Joker: Folie à Deux and Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. Drew admits to being confused by the ambitious yet convoluted nature of Megalopolis, while both he and Billy express their frustration and anger with Joker: Folie à Deux. All while admiring the "fuck you" nature of these two filmmakers and movies. They wrestle with the conflicting ideas that artists should have complete creative freedom while also keeping the audience in mind when creating stories. The main question being... do artists owe us anything?
