Do You Like Apples is back with westerns! Kevin Costner is putting the whole genre on his back this weekend. The western genre is a mystery to us and we took the last couple weeks watching classics that we missed and re-watching the few that we love. Through that watching many larger discussions popped into Drew and Billy’s head about the genre. Why don’t they make them like them as much anymore? What is the most iconic era? Are comic book movies the new western? We explore all of those questions and more!
Be forewarned! We are definitely not experts! Billy called Young Guns, The Wild Boys, and called the Coen Brothers movie Miller’s Crossing a western when it is clearly a gangster movie.
