- A message from the Navajo Nation Division for Children and Family Services: Staying hydrated is essential
- The DCD Housing Improvement Program will be conducting 9 days of chapter outreach for applications through the end of August

- Vulnerability is often misunderstood as a weakness, but in reality, it is one of the most essential strengths a leader can possess.
5. A Few of the Week's Accomplishments
- Executive Branch directors undertook a 2-day strategic planning session at OPVP to plan for the next 17 months and beyond
- DNR held a resource fair and summit on animals and plants at Twin Arrows
- Navajo Nation child care centers under the Division for Children and Family Services helped kick off the start of the new school year with supplies and advice for young Navajo learners
- NDOT's Airports Department, Chinle Chapter, and Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Center held a ribbon cutting for the Chinle airport airstrip replacement project, ensuring life-saving air support continues
6. Major Projects We Are Working On
- Director Toddy (DHR) is working to get educational support payments out for Navajo trade school students
- Department of Emergency Management and chapters, alongside other programs, are working to address recent thunderstorm activity across Navajo
- DCD has completed 65 bathroom additions with 90 underway and an expected total of 300 to be completed under the ARPA section
- DODE will complete a data sharing agreement with BIE to help it better gauge and evaluate student performance in those schools

- We celebrated Navajo Code Talker Day at the Window Rock Fairgrounds + resource fair
8. Upcoming Events
- This weekend we will celebrate the 38th Annual Central (Chinle) Agency Fair
- Monday will be the start of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago
