- NNTRC announced 81% broadband coverage of Navajo Nation—accomplished in four years (half the FCC's eight-year allowance)
- Coverage reaches 161,927 residents through NTUA Wireless and Sacred Wind Communications
- DCFS processed ~$729,000 in burial payments in December; assistance increased from $2,500 to $3,500
- Window Rock Airport AWOS system repaired and restored after January 1 snow outage
