7. A Few of the Week's Accomplishments
- The Navajo Epidemiology Center and Navajo Special Diabetes Program hosted a Saint Patrick's Day/Let's Get Vaccinated 5K Run and Walk with 113 participants.
- On March 27, we celebrated the completion of the N71 pavement project with Tsídii To'í (Birdsprings Chapter).
- I signed a $228,000 small business contract for the Baahaali Chapter House roofing renovation.
- I signed a $476,000 contract with a Navajo company for the Thoreau Senior Center renovation project.
- I signed a $157,000 contract to build a gazebo and complete other projects at the Tsaile Senior Center.
- Navajo Nation leadership advocated for vital federal support at the Tribal Interior Budget Council in Washington, DC.
8. Major Projects I am Working On
- The Division of Aging and Long-Term Care Support held a meeting to discuss New Mexico Capital Outlay projects.
- The Diné Action Plan group held a summit to meet with Navajo hatááłii (traditional medicine men) at Diné College in Tsaile with over 100 attendees.
- NDOT developing nationwide chapter outreach.
- On March 22, I met with Congresswoman Theresa Leger Fernandez to discuss federal funding.

- Eastern Navajo Agency Council leadership meeting in Gallup on March 26.
- This morning I took part in the STEM-sation Event at Newcomb High School.
10. Upcoming Events in the Coming Week
- March 30 is the Navajo Women Veterans Conference at San Juan College.
- Miss Navajo will host Eggstravaganza on March 30 starting at 9am at the Navajo Nation Museum.
- The 7th Annual National Vietnam War Veterans Day is March 29.
