4. Accomplishments
- Turkey distributions across Navajo Nation with donations from PNM and Tucson Electric Power (TEP)
- Community representatives worked with chapters and CHRs to identify vulnerable families
- Equine Herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1) outbreak update: Arizona State Veterinarian implemented new regulations
- Interstate certificates valid for only 5 days if originating state had EHV-1 detection within 30 days
- 1,000 Home Initiative update: NHLCO constructed 84 modular homes, 30 delivered, 22 key turnovers completed
- CHID delivering 360+ homes, HIP delivering 74 homes
- 71 total homes turned over: 39 in Eastern Agency, 32 in Northern Agency
- Work Order 5 issued November 20, 2025 for additional 138 homes under CHID ARPA funding
- Coalmine Canyon electrification: 16 families recently connected to electric grid
- Chapter resolution passed November 16, 2025 for next phase bringing electricity to 25 additional families
5. Major Projects
- $4 million secured for Tohatchi Public Safety Building construction
- New facility to house police services, EMTs, and fire station for District 14
- Total construction costs expected to exceed $15 million
- Financial Assistance Unit collected 4,149 LIHEAP applications across five regions
- 129 households approved for payments totaling $78,600 in heating assistance
- LIHEAP applications expected to reopen mid-December
- DCD entered 11 Navajo Nation projects totaling $14.6 million in New Mexico Capital Outlay Portal

- Nike Cross Regional Southwest Championship in Mesa, Arizona
- Elijah England (Navajo Prep) finished 24th with 15:03
- Symond Martin (Page) placed 37th with 15:11
- Kaden Lapahie (Shiprock) finished in 15:49
- Taylor Biggambler (Flagstaff) ran 19:01 in girls' race, one week after AIA Division II State Championship win
- Navajo Technical University basketball vs. Grand Canyon University-Club: 83-81 loss in exciting game
- NTU Skyhawks showed tremendous heart and competitive spirit
