5. A Few Accomplishments from the Past Week
- I signed the $5.6 million Carson Burnham Regional Water Supply Project contract
- I signed a contract for $4.9 million to fund the Naschitti San Juan Lateral Project
- Earlier this month, I signed the Tse'ii'ahi (Standing Rock) Waterline Extension for $5.9 million
- This past Friday, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Beacon Bisti N-9 Lateral
- The Navajo Nation Department of Corrections celebrated the grand opening of the $2 million Window Rock Modular Detention Center in Fort Defiance
- Hosting Gov. Tim Walz in Window Rock last Saturday
- Biden apologizes to Native Americans for Indian boarding schools

- The Navajo Nation was selected to manage a regional conservation partnership program with the NRCS
