4. A Few of the Week's Accomplishments
- I signed a contract to invest $200,000 into the open market in Shiprock, N.M.
- I signed a $6.3 million dollar contract for two dispatch centers.
- I signed a $1.3 million dollar contract for the Round Rock Convenience Store and Gas Station.
- We broke ground on a road project in Dennehotso, AZ, and completed a road in Pinedale, N.M.
5. Major Projects I Am Working On
- Our Arizona Water Rights Settlement and Rio San Jose Settlement work continues.
- Native Community Capital continue to process applications to the Homeowner Assistance Fund.
- Director Justin Ahasteen continues the fight for RECA amendments through grassroots efforts.
- I signed a $224,000 contract to provide for maintenance of HVAC systems at Senior Centers.
6. Meet & Greets
- This week, we viewed a few of the sites where community members received bathroom additions, utility hookups, septic systems, house wiring, and waterlines.
7. Upcoming Events
- Through a collaboration with NDOH's Special Diabetes Program, we will promote health wellness in each of the five agencies.
- September 28 is the Chinle Agency Council meeting.
- Next week, I will be in Washington, D.C., advocated for the people.
