Let’s talk about distractions. There are a lot of things clamoring for our attention on a daily basis. TV, news, ads, social media…and this can make it difficult to quiet our minds to concentrate on the things we want rather than on the things that want us. 

Giving in to all the noise and focusing on a million things actually keeps us from focusing on the one thing we actually want. 

Once you are able to focus on the things you desire, it can be a game changer. Choose the one that’s most important and concentrate on that one. This will allow you to shift your energy and direct it towards your goal instead of absorbing the energy from everything else around you. 

It’s important to make you and your goals a priority. If you don’t do this, it could mean you are settling for a mediocre life and it can cause dis-ease in your body. It makes me think of the quote, “If you don't make time for your wellness, you’ll make time for your illness.”
