I learned something so valuable by talking to those who were self-aware enough to know things needed to change
What I learned is that you can get trapped by your analytical mind - what I mean is that if all you have nurtured is your thinking mind; you will feel trapped and helpless when it comes to dealing with how you FEEL
The go-to for me was to numb out with food, tv, drinking, etc., or avoid it altogether. Eventually that leads to suffering and disease
I believe the way out of this is to not wait for disease but take a proactive approach to learning how to get past your analytical mind and really increase your emotional intelligence which will profoundly change your life
