Thanks for coming back for Part 2 of my conversation with Joél. We go deeper into the meaning of community and the importance of using your own discernment as you engage with others. I love the way that Joél holds in his heart and mind the authors and activists that have come before him. This in and of itself is a form of community.
Joél ultimately leaves us with a message of resounding hope for the future, including his thoughts on how we can teach our children about the world so that they can develop their own agency. We’re all planting seeds — through our work, our children, and our relationships. May our harvest be bountiful!
