In 2016, Catherine Poss, a cardiac care traveling nurse and her husband of 15 months masterfully packed all their belongings and set off from Houston for a road trip to Catherine’s new assignment in California. Filled with hope, little did she know that a few days later on a highway in Arizona at 9:40 in the evening she would be on the phone with a 911 dispatch after watching her husband leave this world.
