Our last LiveJournal of the year 2023 sees Iwan and Dave joined by Liam Stephens, and the lads review Elite Wrestling Entertainment's year closer, "Retribution" from the Bedford in Balham.
Three title fights were the backbone of the card, as UK Champion Alexander Roth defended in an instant classic against Connor Mills, Light-Heavyweight Champion defended against Jake Sullivan, and in the main event, Arcadius defended the EWE Heavyweight title in a three-way bout against Louis Basham and CJ Rawlings.
The lads discuss the title matches, plus the undercard of this show, which also saw a Debate take place, and with the Commissionership of EWE in the balance in the next few weeks, hearts and minds were won and lost!
Plus, we talk about Grease (the film, not the substance), the Premier Promotions show on the same night featuring Zack Sabre Jr, and the perils of recording in a soon to be closing McDonalds!
