The MXL Live Journal wagon rolls into Borehamwood, with episode two reporting on Ignite Wrestling Pro, and their first show of 2023, "The Next Episode".
Iwan and Dave are joined by Our Leighton, Liam, Mark and Ashleigh, and on the docket was a stacked card from a sold-out 96 Shenley Road (for those wondering, 97 Shenley Road is the Peacocks across the street...)
Main evented by dominant Ignite Wrestling Pro Champion Corey McRae defending the title against British Wrestling Royalty, RJ Singh, there were other great bouts on tap, from the tag team grudge match between The Rebellion and the Bryant Brothers and standout tag team specialists Mark Trew and Smashing Mike squaring off with each other in singles competition.
Ignite's women's division was represented by Kira Chimera taking on Artemis, , Jackson Heart and Ted Sabin competed in the 2023 season premiere of the popular Breakout Division, and opening the bill was "The Goth Daddy" Xander battling The Multiversal Wolf of Brawl Street, Alexander Roth.
We shoot the breeze for an hour on the show, with discussions such as a Crap Town in Bedfordshire and preferences regarding Crisps among some of the other non-wrestling subjects mentioned.
