The Copper Box is almost here... Look Busy.
Iwan, Dave, and Liam Stephens had a special assignment in Central London that may or may not have been released by the time this podcast got out, and decamped to the slightly famous Burger King in Leicester Square to chat about RevPro's final trip to the NotPit before the Copper Box!
Main evented by a monster 10-man tag team bout with implications for August 26th, this was a wild affair that topped off a 229 show with a lot of moving parts in general going into RevPro's biggest ever show.
Also on the bill, Alex Windsor made a defence of the Undisputed British Women's Champion against Hyan, where the lads discuss the greater status of the women's division, ever an Achilles Heel for RevPro as far as booking goes, and where the division lands at the Copper Box as well.
Two strong tag team bouts took place, as Undisputed British Tag Team Champions Subculture took on Sunshine Machine in non-title action, while the Greedy Souls looked to spoil the welcome-back party for the returning VeloCities.
And rounding off the card, a heavy-hitting match between Dan Moloney and Zak Knight, and cruiserweight mastery from Leon Slater and Harrison Bennett.
The lads talk about the card up to the main event, where they went a bit Broadway in the West End, but Iwan flies solo to discuss the main event and some huge implications in its aftermath.
Plus we hear chat about Arsenal babyfacing themselves to at least one half of Manchester (and most of London for that matter), a wild Suggs sighting from Liam, and TWIN MAGIC involving a former RevPro excursioner. All that and more in the next less-than-an-hour of power!
PLUS: Wait until the end as Iwan announces some huge stuff ahead for MXL being released in the next couple of weeks!
Recorded at Burger King, Leicester Square on the evening of Tuesday 8th August 2023, then on Iwan's Throne, Grove Park in the wee hours of Friday 11th August 2023 (less than 12 hours before this pod was released!).
