Dave and Iwan return to Live Journal duty to report on their trip up to Liverpool, and the first show of a huge weekender at Hangar 34. as TNT Extreme Wrestling collaborate with the dynamic US independent promotion GCW, presenting five different shows across three days.
TNT Project X kicked off the weekend's festivities on Friday night, featuring the signature Project X match, featuring Leon Slater, Robbie X, Starboy Charlie and Scotty Rawk, and this match had some elevated stakes from the jump, as we'll tell you on the podcast!
Three title bouts were set, with the TNT World Champion Charles Crowley defending his gold against Jordan Oliver - could the Spectacular Twat find a cunning way to retain, or would we see a new champion?
With GCW on tour this weekend, we saw a GCW title match, as their Ultraviolent Champion Rina Yamashita defended her crown in a bloody and brutal bout against Emersyn Jayne, and spoilers... Iwan actually enjoyed this one!
Completing the hat-trick of title fights, Alexxis Falcon hoped to continue her record-setting reign as TNT Women's Champion in a title defence against the highest ranked woman in this year's PWI500, Masha Slamovich.
Rounding out the card was the likes of Lykos Gym vs Los Vipers, BUSSY vs Scouse and Proud and Gringo Loco vs Dan Moloney, and there was a lot to talk about these matches too!
Expect a good chat about the show, and a lot more, as despite the 13-hour round trip, and the super early recording, Iwan and Dave had quite a few thoughts on this really good show!
