Iwan and Dave sit down at the StreamYard Theatre to chat about Ignite Wrestling Pro's year closing show, "Curtain Call II", and the fans at 96 Shenley Road saw arguably one of the best cards to take place in that very building.
- We saw the rematch between Corey McRae and Gene Munny for the Ignite Wrestling Pro Title, where Gene put EVERYTHING on the line, from his own Gene Munny Championship of Gene Munny, to his Ignite Career!
- Also on deck was the Ignite debut of Nina Samuels, and the Star of the Show took on the ever popular Aluna in one of the best women's matches seen in an Ignite ring,
- Smashing Mike defended the Turnbuckle Title against Will Kroos (subbing for Chris Ridgeway, a story that Dave broke on the recent EVE podcast), find out how did the Smashing One fared against a new, BEEFier challenge?
- A smash hit on paper and on the night, CPF and The Rebellion clashed for Belgium's BodyZoi Tag Team Titles, and there was a twist in the tale,
- MXL favourite, but not an Ignite favourite, Mark Trew squared off with Tommy Kyle, and we talk about how the Absolute Maverick got on in his first Ignite match in a year,
- The final of the Breakout Division's Battle Bowl took place, with five wrestlers vying for the prestigious trophy and the title opportunity at the Ignite Wrestling Pro Champion.
Also on tap: how Ignite's year has gone, including how they may fare as far as best promotion in 2023 goes, and how they're not afraid to book shows with the bad guys on top.
And in off-topic chat, you get the usual talk on GDK and how a change may happen in 2024, and the lads debunk any silly rumours of an MXL OnlyFans! (We reckon Liam started that, the silly billy...)
Recorded at the StreamYard Theatre on the evening of Wednesday November 15th 2023.
