Description

"It certainly struck a chord with people more important than me; those PROGRESS fans..."

Dave chairs this deep-dive into MXL's first look at a Chapter show from PROGRESS Wrestling, joined by Ashleigh Clements and Mark Roffey.

The final Electric Ballroom card before Super Strong Style 16 saw PROGRESS pull a huge, historic rabbit from their hat for the main event, as PROGRESS Men's World Champion Spike Trivet would defend his title against arch-rival Cara Noir... in the first Steel Cage Match in the company's 11-year history.

We also talk about a loaded supporting card featuring some of the best wrestlers in the country, and a show with a LOT of segments, promos, and announcements, which left Dave's "match only" run sheet in epic disarray!

The lads also discuss these topics as well as the general outlook of PROGRESS presently. The Camden outfit had a very shaky back end of 2022 and the MXL sphere was certainly critical of the product at the time, but it seems that PROGRESS has been made, no pun intended, and there are signs of improvement in the first four months of 2023 worth mentioning...

Other talking points include Wendy's, why Dave missed WrestleForce the previous night, and a rabbit hole into the BritWres goodness on tap SO FAR for AEW's All In Weekend!

So settle in for a very deep dive indeed as the news and views that matter regarding PROGRESS are expressed here!
