A new month, and Iwan and Dave talk about the best way to start said month - Revolution Pro Wrestling's 74th Live in London show - and a strong bill came to the 229 this past Sunday:
- "El Capitane" Leyton Buzzard would battle Michael Oku in the main event - fireworks were expected, and these two delivered the goods!!
- The Greedy Souls have dominated the Tag Team division as champions in recent months, and they hoped to turn away another challenge, defending the Undisputed British Tag Team Titles against the team of Sha Samuels and Levi Muir.
- Newest member of the Contenders Division, Dynamite Lee Dawson, had a stiff test on his 229 debut, against Connor Mills.
- The Undisputed British Cruiserweight Champion, Robbie X, would defend his title in a rematch from a Cardiff show curtailed by an injury, but challenger Harrison Bennett, now 100% after that match, hoped to make this second chance count!
- Southside Women's Champion Skye Smitson was the welcoming committee for the returning "Renaissance Woman" Hyan, and this match sparked a chain of events that would see some interesting developments in RevPro's women's division going forward!
- Hard-hitting action between two grizzled veterans of the game, as Rampage Brown duelled with Zak Knight.
- And opening the show, Joshua James would face off with Luke Jacobs in more hard-hitting action!
The lads talk about the show, the pluses and minuses, and much more. We also pay tribute to The Iron Shiek, who sadly passed away hours before we were due to record (Also, Fuck the Hulk Hogan!), and (just to date the show a little more), give a live reaction to West Ham vs Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final! The last of the off-topic talk concerns, of all places, a great place to pick up a milkshake in Baker Street!
Never a dull moment in the MXL sphere, eh?
