That time of the year has arrived where we at MXL wrap up the Year of our Lord 2023, and give out awards and whatnot...
So join Iwan and Dave as they, along with Mr. Shitwolf himself, Liam Stephens, to talk about the Best and Worst of the year!
What wrestlers, matches and shows thrilled or disgusted the panel, (and a couple of write-in voters too) over the last 12 months? Find out as twenty awards are discussed, with some consensus picks prevalent, and others that certainly split the table somewhat.
Plus, we talk about non-wrestling awards, and find out which matches are worthy of the prestigious Jahmale Hepburn Award for Online Matches that are just awesome...
Also, with the devastating news still fresh, being announced hours before recording this. the panel pay their tributes to Kurtis Chapman, popularly known as Mad Kurt. His untimely passing at the age of just 26 was arguably one of the greatest gut punches experienced by the panel, as fans of the British wrestling scene in recent years, and the lads share their memories of a one-of-a-kind personality in BritWres that will be sadly missed.
