We discuss how the judgment and fear-based language often used in today's Christian churches can be damaging. Ed defines Christ Consciousness and the challenges that can arise when we feel it is unsafe to turn our reflection inward. He shares how we are invited to have a personal relationship with God, yet that exact personal reflection could also be labeled heresy within the church. The conversation takes a very interesting turn when Ed discusses the absent years of Jesus mentioned in the Bible, and research that reveals much about where he went during that time.
