Disney's experimental age is full of great movies and duds. From experiment 626 to the most expensive flop, the movies are varied and interesting. This week, we are tackling yet another experimental movie, Treasure Planet!
This space take on Treasure Island came out in 2002, right in the middle of the experiments. The animators used three different types of animation/technology to create this movie, which jacked up the price and made it less visually smooth.
Mistakes aside, this is a fun movie, with interesting characters, and the best sidekicks, potentially ever. From Morph to B.E.N. and all of the villainous crew members, this cast is full of *character.
