Highlight Exodus 11:1-3 New Living Translation
Death for Egypt’s Firstborn
11 Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will strike Pharaoh and the land of Egypt with one more blow. After that, Pharaoh will let you leave this country. In fact, he will be so eager to get rid of you that he will force you all to leave.2 Tell all the Israelite men and women to ask their Egyptian neighbors for articles of silver and gold.” 3 (Now the Lord had caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel. And Moses was considered a very great man in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s officials and the Egyptian people alike.)
Explain – God explained to Moses that there will be one last plague on Pharoah and the Egyptians. The Lord caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel, to give them silver and gold.
Apply – God will accomplish His will despite any opposing forces. We can partner with God in accomplishing His will and reap the reward of Joy and peace through eternity, or we will be flutily opposing Him to our own destruction.
Joshua 24:15 ESV And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Hebrews 10:36 ESV For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
Respond – Lord, I thank You for Your promises and for permitting me to serve You in accomplishing Your will. I strive to follow You faithfully and obediently forever. I pray for those with hardened hearts that they will accept You as Lord and savior. Amen.
