This week, we begin studying the Bible's story of Creation 2.0, a retelling of the events of Chapter 1 from a different perspective. We burst the bubble on some common assumptions like there being no rain before the Flood, the word "day" having to mean 24 literal hours, Adam's creation from actual dust, and the location of the Garden. We also touch on Ancient Near Eastern creation myths that show a common history with the narrative of Genesis and how the rivers of Eden hyperlink to the rest of the Biblical story.
