The girlies waste no time getting into Part 2 of John Scalzi's Starter Villain. While not a lot happens in the book, aside from Charley going to Volcano Island to sit in an awkward HR powerpoint on how to be villain-y, dolphins who wish to unionize, & more cats using computers to speak, the sisters wonder why the humor looks so good on paper but seems to fall flat when reading.
Nearly 2/3s of the way through the book, this novel could be summarized so far as man attends a work orientation followed by a work conference.
