Description

This week we review Colson Whitehead's Sag Harbor, an earlier novel that's been overshadowed by his two more recent critically acclaimed works The Nickel Boys and The Underground Railroad.  We debate the merits of Sag Harbor, learn about the historical background of real-life Sag Harbor, NY and discuss who we would recommend this novel to.
This is the first book in our series Race in Contemporary America where we read books written by contemporary minority writers.
