Our guest is Laurene Tresfield. Laurene is a professional women's footballer from Paris, France. She is currently a center defender for Alaves in the Spanish Women's Primera. She was previously the Captain of @gpso92issy9 in the Division 2 Feminine, the second division of professional football in France. Laurene also represents Martinique in international CONCACAF competitions.
In this episode we discuss Laurene's lifelong passion for the game, how she grew up playing mostly with boys, and her courageous decision to move to the United States and play at the NCAA Division 1 level for Oklahoma State University - without ever having been to the USA before!
