Description

I'm Dr Jea, a scholarly geek who loves research. I enjoy studying highly successful people, and I immerse myself in the fields of systems thinking, neuroscience, positive psychology, behavioral analysis, and leadership. I also like to get my hands on anything health and well-being related.

I began my career in the classroom teaching elementary students, so I know how to make anything fun and actionable. My career has been a joy-filled adventure that started in the classroom, and grew to founding downtown Denver’s first elementary school, leading innovation grants supporting the development of educators across the beautiful state of Colorado, advising political and civic leaders, including the White House and Gates Foundations, and developing a Learning and Performance department to scale a 450-employee tech company valued at 600 million, to more than 1300 employees valued at 2.7 billion dollars six years later. All while navigating life as a single mom on a solo income.

This podcast is dedicated to the moms who are game changers, disrupters, visionaries…. It’s for my fellow warriors who are in the arena, who feel called to lead in any and all spaces of their lives. It’s for the woman who has the braveness to face the world with her femininity shining through. For the woman who has the integrity to stand up for what she believes in, and possesses the inner power to take risks, to fail and try again, and most of all, the inner power to succeed because sometimes success is even scarier than failure.

Together, we are building brilliance in ourselves, our families, and our communities. In this podcast I will keep you on the cutting edge of research to support you in upleveling your success personally and professionally. Sometimes I’ll share what I like to call, “Thought Shots”, a glimpse into the mind. Sometimes I’ll invite my colleagues or clients to share their wisdom. Sometimes I’ll share words of inspiration to motivate and encourage you from books and resources that are being produced in this moment. And, sometimes I will lead you on a guided meditation to support your health and well-being, because more than anything, I care about you, I care about your journey, and most importantly, I care about your children who are watching you role model the way of what’s possible in their lives.
