Description

In a church, one is likely to find both eulogies and confessions.  I offer one of each tonight.

These are both from the Summer of 2019.  I lost my dog, Melanie, on June 14th of that year.  I wrote her eulogy that night.  I finally had the strength to deliver it this week.

Some members of my family, a few weeks afterward, told all of my Facebook Friends that if they knew how horrible I was, they wouldn't be my friends anymore.  They challenged me to confess my worst sin.  I accepted the challenge.  I lost only a few friends by doing so.  I hope I don't lose you.

Melanie is what connects all of these pieces together.  I will never stop missing her.

If you would like to support me on Patreon, I would be grateful.  We lost our biggest supporter last month, and it's going to take a long time to make up for that loss.  I'll always be grateful for all she did, and I wish her well in her new adventures.
