Evidently the quickest way to make both sides angry is to suggest peace. When I posted this on Patreon, and when I posted it on my blog, both sides told me there was no way they would make peace with the other side. I'm not sure many people even listened to or read what you're about to hear before they decided peace was unthinkable. And that's the thinking that is going to keep us divided.
Klingons and Conservatives have much in common. The pursuit of honor, the idea that only the strong should survive, and the fact that they can both break with these traditions are found in both groups.
The Federation and The Klingons became allies. Can Liberals and Conservatives do the same?
