Do you have the drive to fight for what you want? When it comes to the entertainment industry, it's important to be ready for the fight! Fight for your dream internship, fight for your professional career, fight for what you believe in and fight to make history!

This week on HBCU IN ENTERTAINMENT, we sit down with a woman who fought to land her dream job at Dej Jam Recordings!

Tierra Gray is the A&R Administration Coordinator for Def Jam Recordings. She is a proud alumni of HBCU Tennessee State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in communications.

Tierra’s early career began at iHeartMedia where she was the third African American woman to have her own radio show in Nashville, TN. Today, she joins to discuss her journey and how we refine the future of the music industry.
