Hannah received pain directly from the hand of God and did not get bitter, instead, she poured out her soul to the Lord and gave her first-born son back to him. Hannah was not barren so that she could not raise children, she was barren so she would provide a prophet for Israel. The pain she received from God’s hand was not punishment, it was for his glory.
