"LEST WE FORGET PASTORS - PANDEMIC HEROES"

The Pandemic of 2020 was only four years ago, called by Dr. Anthony Fauci, "the most historic virus outbreak in U.S. history in over 100 years. A period no one knew how or when it would end, yet many Black Pastors prayed and believed, while struggling to keep their doors open, assisted communities, already dealing with great challenges, come through emotionally, mentally, and spiritually! Food supplies, medical supplies, hospitals, and medical facilities were challenged as never before around the world.

There were many heroes from various walks of life, but the Black Church has been questioned as to its purpose and relevancy for today's times even though they have always been a driving force uplifting Black and Brown people and communities.

Though it seems life has moved on and returned for many to the things which were before the Pandemic's horrific outbreak, The Well After Hours would like to look back and reshare some of the pastors who shared at THE WELL to remind us how our Souls got over by The Grace of our LORD and the consistent prayers, faith, and help of God's Shepherds, The community's Pastors.

Join us around THE WELL this Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 7:30 PM, for a conversation with one of Chicago's stellar Doctors and Pastors, Bishop Horace E. Smith M.D., Pediatric Hematologist & Pastor of the Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago, Illinois. Bishop Smith shares how he braced himself and The Church by God's Grace and direction!
