We subconsciously foster this expectation that life will go along without any problems. We know problems are inevitable, yet, we spend our lives avoiding problems and/or pretending that they don’t exist. Honestly, many of us ignore the need to grow until we are faced with problems. Problems force us to grow up; it’s not all about what we want, when we want it, or how we want it. When things don’t turn out the way we expect, we undoubtedly grow in compassion and patience.
