Peter addresses the Elders in these verses. He instructs them to shepherd the flock, which includes feeding, leading, loving, and protecting them. As Christians, we submit to God, our Elders, and to one another with humility. This humility is even more challenging in times of suffering and persecution. Though our suffering is only for a while, our glory is eternal.
