In 1923, Pietro Ferrero put up a pastry shop in Dogliani, Italy. Due to a cocoa shortage, he was forced to creatively find alternative recipes. Little did he know that he'd end up creating what would now be known as Nutella. Nutella's success would bring forth brands such as Tic Tac, Kinder, and most importantly, Ferrero Rocher.
