We are excited to have Andrew Coughlan the Principal Gifts Specialist at the Wounded Warrior Project. We spoke to him about when he was young having that feeling or need to serve. He had graduated high school just before the September 11th attacks and that drove him to join the military. His first deployment was right to the heart of Iraq. Andrew shared the story and loss of some of his closest friends and how one of them saved his life on July 19th, 2004 during a mortar attack on their base. Was able to learn that besides the work he does with the Wounded warrior Project, he also helps out with Make A Wish. Andrew has an amazing story, this is one you do not want to miss. Can even hear how he ran a mile every hour for 17 hours and raised $15,000 while doing so. Great American, thank you Andrew for your time and willingness to share.
