Back to our guest Alex, who served in the Air Force. We were able to get this very busy man to sit down and talk with us for almost 40 minutes about his life. Started with his love of craft beer starting early in high school with the kits you could buy from the hardware store. Out of High School he went to the local JC for a year where he may not have been the best student. At that point he decided to join the Air Force. After completing his service there moved back home, went back to the JC and eventually moved on to CSU Stanislaus. Alex got his degree and began working for multiple schools in the area. Never giving up his love of making beer, the whole time having a dedicated room just to beer and beer making at his house. After many years, he took the leap and started Contentment with his wife a fellow beer maker. The rest as they say is history, you have to listen to hear it all.
Next we had the pleasure of an impromptu guest, Nick Lemmo Jr. Nick was an absolute joy to talk to. We were able to hear the stories of his service during the Vietnam era along with the emotion of what he dealt with in his duties in the Air Force. Again, this is so much better to listen to, and we look forward to meeting with Nick again.
