We had the pleasure of speaking to US Army Combat Veteran turned Songwriter, Schaefer Mueller. Schaefer was born and raised in Virginia and after almost graduating with his Civil Engineering degree, when he decided to drop out and join the US Army. After going through training all over the country he did end up in Afghanistan where we showed near the end of the show what he and his fellow Vets faced.
Moved on to his music and Schaefer was kind enough to let us share a couple of his songs. We played Let it Show, a song he came up with while laying on the floor thinking about all the emotions veterans go through. We also played One Last Rodeo which was done with his band The Neon Highway.
This man never stops hustling and shared some of the other jobs he is doing while growing his music career.
